Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to celebrate this new edition of the Summer School in El Escorial, Madrid (Spain).
This is going to be the second edition that we will carry out. Last year, the level of satisfaction was very high, with an overall average rating of 4.7/5 points. The intention is to maintain a high level of satisfaction, with a training program for residents where they learn both transversal topics and medical science.
As in previous years, we need the cooperation of all the EFIM National Societies to advertise the School to potential residents. The principle of applying through your Society is that it enables you to select young internists whom you think will benefit most from this educational experience. In order to plan effectively we would like some indication of your intentions at this stage.
You have two ways to Send Residents:
- Fill in online Intention to Send Residents Form by 31 March 2023 at the latest
- Fill in attached application form and sending by mail to Esta dirección de correo electrónico está siendo protegida contra los robots de spam. Necesita tener JavaScript habilitado para poder verlo.
We aim to accept up to 50 residents at the Summer School from EFIM member countries. Ideally the residents should be under the age of 36 years, fluent in English, and be at the end of their training in Internal Medicine.
The registration fee will be 1150 € (Including VAT) per resident which will include: accommodation for 6 nights, meals, school facilities, internet access and various activities.
The sponsoring National Society will also be responsible for paying the travel costs of each resident. The selected residents will receive link to register online after we receive your completed online (Intention to Send Residents form).
The provisional program and other preliminary information will be available at the website: http://www.esim2023.com/
On behalf of the School, I thank you for your continued support and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
With best regards,
ESIM Director: Javier Moreno Díaz
